The Portal




Imagine finding a portal - a secret doorway where things move through space and time. Check out Room 2's film for the 2018 Manaiakalani Film Festival and see what some of the students get up to!     Awesome movie room 2 I really wish this was real, because I could just type up a McDonald meal and grab it through the screen.

      Kia ora Jonathan - thanks for your comment. What part of the Room 2 movie did you find the most entertaining? I really enjoyed the rollercoaster scenes because it was fun to film the girls pretending to be doing crazy moves!

    Great movie room 2. The boys of rooms 19 and 20 would like to go through and end up in a real life Fortnite battle and the girls would like to go to Disney Land.

    I love your movie because, it's very interesting and funny. I think that a portal is a great touch to add to this movie, but the best thing in the movie was the people in it! In the beginning of the movie, how was he able to stick his hand through the drawing?

      Kia ora Milan! -Glad to know you enjoyed watching Room 2's movie. Our movie was inspired by The Black Hole - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijEfmJLV5PE - we used a green screen special effect to make the chips appear!

    What an awesome movie! I loved your special effects! Everyone in the movie theatre gasped out loud when the paintbrush fell in to the portal- we were hooked!
    I think I would use the portal to get all-day coffee from the staff room then chuck all my dirty cups and spoons back in !

    Great movie, Loved the effects and the portal. It reminds me of how Mr Wiseman drew a blue and black portal for the first day of school. It'll be really cool if this actually happened.
