INQUIRY - Watcher of the South - Xhosa Legend (South Africa) - Oali'i, Zamera, Pauline

Students in Team 5 have been learning across our block traditional stories from different cultures. In Room 2, Ms. Tapuke shared a story from the Xhosa people of South Africa about how the famous landmark, Table Mountain in Cape Town was formed.

Check out the recording from Oali'i, Zamera and Pauline of their retelling of the myth and their awesome pronunciation of isiXhosa words!

Watch this video and practise three different clicking sounds for words in isiXhosa  with the letters c, q and x  - have fun!
