Farewell - from Ms. Tapuke

Wow! I'm so incredibly grateful
to have been part of
the Pt England School whanau
but... after 4 (and a bit)! years, 
it's time to say farewell.

I will leave with a 
heart full of many precious memories 
of my life at PES.

To the staff at PES
Thank you for your friendship
your willingness to share ideas,
 your passion for educating young people 
and plenty of good laughs!

To my students - past and present:)
I learnt so much from each of you -
thank you for being my teacher!
My deepest wish for each of you is
that you find a way
to step into your amazingness
(yes - this is now a word!)
and show up as
the best you can be!

Room 2's Last Day for 2019!

Kia ora koutou from Room 2 for the last time in 2019! Today is the end of term here at Pt England School and the last time for the Room 2 whanau of Year 7s and 8s to gather together. Hard to believe that one year has gone by - so much has happened, so many great memories!

For our Year 8s - I wish you only the VERY BEST for 2020 as you start a new chapter as college students - don't forget to come and visit! For our Year 7s - I look forward to seeing you back on Feb 3rd as the new seniors of our school!

For now, take care everyone - be safe, have fun and enjoy the summer holiday break!

Last day of School!


It's our last day of school for 2018 and we had some time in our home class this morning to say farewell to the Year 8s who are off to High School next year. There was a mixture of sadness, laughter, tiredness and excitement. 

From all the students in Room 2, thanks for visiting our class blog and sharing in our learning journey in 2018 - we wish you a very relaxing, happy and safe holiday break.

The lasts words are from David who could always be counted on to get us all thinking with his favourite catchphrase!
