Maths - Estimating Capacity - How many cups to fill a IL bottle?

We practiced using our estimation skills this week to predict the capacity (liquid volume) of different glass bottles.  We got to take turns testing out our predictions of how many cups or 1/2 cups it would take to fill each bottle. Some of our guesses were correct but others needed to be changed! Our estimation skills got better the more we practiced.

For this task I had to find out, how many metres would Kauri run. If he ran 3 laps, and how many laps will
Kauri need to run to complete a distance of 4km. Then for question 3 we had to plan a daily running schedule for Kauri fro one month. How many laps will he need to run each day to hit the target of 7 km each week. We had to write our answers on a piece of paper.
