TAHA TINANA - Healthy Body - Situps - HANNAH

Talofa Lava! Hannah is back with another TAHA Challenge. Today she has an exercise that will help us build up our core (the middle area of our bodies), especially our abdominal and hip muscles. Core strength is important for a healthy flexible body. This kind of TAHA TINANA power means we can stand tall and bend easily in all different directions.

Challenge: Do 25 sit ups in 2 minutes or less

Get your timer ready! How many sit ups can you do in 2 minutes? 5? 25? 50?
Have a go and share your experience on a blog post.
Check out Hannah's blog and leave a comment for her.

TAHA TINANA - Healthy Body - Yoga - HANNAH

Malo e lelei! Today Hannah is trying out TAHA Challenge inspired by the practice of yoga. It will help strengthen your posture (how you stand) so your TAHA TINANA  is in balance for a healthy body.

Challenge: Stand on one foot and place your other foot on your knee. Close your eyes for 1 minute.

Can keep your balance with your eyes closed for the whole 60 seconds without falling over? Give it a go yourself and share a blog post to tell us how you went. Leave a message for Hannah in the comment box below!
