This term Room 2 created multimedia self-portraits. We used a combination of photographs, collage and painting to share with each other some of the things that make us unique and special.
First, each student created a two lists: 1) things they enjoy doing and 2) adjectives that describe their key personality traits.
The whole class worked really hard to complete their artwork in time for our first Parent-Teacher interviews for the year.

ReplyDeleteKia Ora Room 2, All the artwork that you showed and presented on your blog is really creative. It definitely shows many facts of each person in your class really well, and my favourite part of the artwork is how you cut out letters and stuck them on the paper together, making words.
ReplyDeleteWhen you guys cutted out the letters from varieties of magazines, It reminded me of when I did that on a similar artwork during my time as a year 4.
It’s really good and nice to see people add heaps of words on their artwork, but maybe next time try and see if you could space the words out more on the paper so it doesn’t look too crowded.

I love the way you put a background around yourself.
I also saw some people put Samoa on there picture and I love Samoa.
Maybe if you tried to put everyone in this video it would make it so much easier to see what they like or what they look like but it was amazing and beautiful to see that the people who made this they did a great job.
I wish I could do this.

I really like how you put words that describe you around a portrait of yourself. I like the way that the paper folds over the photos you guys took. The colours are really creative, and I like the way you guys assembled the words.I think that next time you guys should have a bigger piece of paper, and more space to put more colour into.Also you could make the words a bit bigger but other than that I really like your artwork.
