Swimming at GI Pools - Lesson #3

All students in Team 5 have the chance this term to take part in 4 lessons to improve their swimming and water safety skills.

Students walk to our local pool in Glen Innes for a 30 minute lesson from trained instructors. Each class is split into two groups depending on their swimming ability.

Each week more and more students are taking part - Week 1 - 12 students; Week 2 - 13 students and this week, 19 students from Room 2 got into the pool.
Next week is our last lesson and we are going to work hard to get EVERYONE, like Bradley, in the pool!

FUN FRIDAY at Pt England School!

Today there was another FUN FRIDAY here at Pt England School - a day to wear mufti, pull out your best wig or bring your favourite wheels (like a bike, skateboard, rollersblades, or a scooter) to school. At lunchtime, students and teachers got the chance to ride around the school -  Kalani, Austin, Mr Jacobsen and Mrs Carter were just a few Pt Englanders out and about on their wheels!
