This morning at our weekly school assembly we got to celebrate all the Pt England School students who took part in the Summer Learning Journey during the holidays.There were two separate programmes - one for Year 3-5s and one for Year 6-8s. The aim is for students to keep up their learning while the holidays are on.
Sonnia did an outstanding job - blogging about different CHANGE MAKERS and commenting on the work of other bloggers throughout the summer break. Her hard work gave her enough points to place 2nd overall at Pt England School. For her awesome efforts, Sonnia received an official certificate PLUS a huge bag full of cool prizes including a brand new set of headphones and a novel.
It's only the first week back at school but Sonnia has started the year the best way possible - arriving at school READY TO LEARN! Tino pai to mahi Sonnia!
